Djibouti, Arabia Saudita
The project of the new Conference Hall of the government of Djibouti wants to fully express the Arab feeling through a functional and representative planimetric study (over 1,850sqm to accommodate 40 heads of state) and a delicate study of the outer shell: worked as a perforated and semi-transparent fabric, it recalls the typical wall decorations of the Arab tradition. The external screen dialogues with the sunlight filtering it and projecting at the same time evanescent games of shadows on the walls that in this way come to life in every hour of the day.
