Palazzo Pisani Revedin, a building under the Soprintendenza’s control, is located in the central district of San Marco in Venice. A walkway has been built in the entrance hall to allow passage even in the presence of high water. The catwalk uses a new vocabulary, simple and rigorous, able to enhance the historical context in which it is inserted. Using the floating flooring technique is clearly a posthumous and reversible intervention over time, perfectly able to preserve the integrity of the existing marble floor.
